This Sunday, February 3rd is the event that sports' lovers, advertising majors, Adam Levine enthusiasts, and chip dip fanatics have all been waiting for: Super Bowl Sunday.
Whether your favorite team is playing or you're just in it for the hilarious commercials, Sunday is a day to kick back in front of the TV and relax.
Here in Wisconsin, the past week has literally (actually) been a polar vortex. Many of you, myself included, are experiencing cabin fever. However, have no fear: this weekend a heat wave is heading our way! That's right, temperatures above 0 degrees which means it will be safe, yet again, to leave the house. Therefore, this year's Super Bowl may be an out-of-the-house event for us polar vortexees.
In Dane County, most of the establishments didn't really advertise their Super Bowl specials online. That's why I took the time (you can thank me later) to call around and find out who's offering what for the big day. Read on to get your Sunday plans set!

If you're not 21 years of age, or would just rather watch from the comfort of your own couch, then here are a few of my favorite chip dip recipes for you to try out so you don't have to miss out on all the fun.
Dad's Chili Cheese Dip
What You'll Need (1) 16oz brick of cream cheese 1 can Hormel chili, no beans 1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese Clear, glass baking dish
Preparation 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Spread room temperature cream cheese in the bottom of the dish. 3. Spread can of Hormel chili on top. 4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. 5. Throw in oven for 12 minutes or until cheese bubbles form on top. 6. Remove from oven and let cool before scooping onto tortilla chip and transporting to mouth. Or, if you're impatient and starving, dip your tortilla chip in immediately for a delicious, mouth-burning, taste-bud-removing extravaganza!
What You'll Need (1) 6oz can corn (drained) 1/2 cup sour cream (Daisy or nothing at all) 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup chopped onion 8oz shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 3oz chopped black olives
Preparation 1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix. 2. Transfer to mouth via tortilla chip or Frito.
*All three of these dips are Kelly tested and approved*
