2019 is the year of Madison real estate!

It has gotten off to an incredible start as far as our market is concerned.

Because millennials are entering the market, there has been a surge of buyer demand; this is great news for anyone who may be considering selling this year. In fact, according to Odeta Kushi, the senior economist for First American Financial Corporation, 2019 is aiming to be even more lucrative on this front than we’ve observed in the recent past. Why? Because -

It's called Get Local and it's seriously the only tool you'll ever need when determining if a specific home's location is right for you.

Before I explain the cool-ness of this feature, let me tell you how to get there.

1. Click here to go to our website's main page.

2. Type in the property address you're inquiring into, click 'Find Your Home', then select the correct home

4. When you're here, you can search for directions from your workplace, favorite coffee shop, current location, etc. to

In case you haven't been keeping up with the blog or our social media pages, we recently hosted a pool for the Men's Division 1 Basketball Competition.

Monday night, Virginia took the National Championship title which meant that several people in our pool had their hearts broken and their bracket busted. If you were one of those with a broken heart, then I'm here to tell you that there is always a plus side. I mean, you could be Andrew Gudermuth.

Anyway, no matter how bad some of the bracket predictions may have been, we still had some participants who pulled through with some pretty accurate brackets.

The person who came in first place in our pool had three out of the four correct teams going to the Final Four! Then theres me, who picked

If you want your home to sell, here are six things you can do to ensure you and your home don't just become another statistic:

1. DO NOT overprice your house. Even in our fast-selling market, you need to make sure you price your home at market value to get people interested. Many buyers in the market have had their offers

When I say "active", I don't mean you actually have to start working out, you just need to pretend like you participate in things that occur outside your front door.

That being said, read on for your full list of Kelly Approved Events over the next month.
