Us Dane County Dwellers know that the cold is still here for at least a couple more months. We know that there has been colder weather #polarvortex2019. We know that, because it's only February, it's useless to spend our time waiting for the seemingly elusive summer weather. That being said, I decided it was time for another post covering the winter-proof events in Madison in the next month, so that none of you have the excuse to drop off the face of Wisconsin until warmer, sunnier times.

Everyone believes in something.

That's why, to start off 2019, we want to promote an organization and cause we truly believe in here at Madison Neighborhoods - Keller Williams: Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin

A little about Second Harvest Foodbank:

  • Nonprofit hunger-relief charity organization
  • Southern Wisconsin's largest hunger relief-charity
  • Three major goals: food distribution, promotion of government programs, and promoting hunger awareness
  • Accepts cash donations; every $1.00 donated provides 3 meals to those in need

Music lovers / de-stressers are lucky to live in Madison.

Not only do we constantly have new and awesome bands coming to town, but we have multiple venues to choose from that reside in the city.

Disclaimer for the latter: Singles Awareness Day is actually February 15th. Don't worry my single friends, there's an entire day dedicated to celebrating you.

Whatever you like to refer to it as, it's a week to celebrate and appreciate the ones you love. If you're anything like me, when you celebrate, there should be copious amounts of good food involved.

Lucky for us Dane County dwellers, there are a ton of really great restaurants to choose from for an occasion as so.
