Nowadays, everyone is either looking to develop the next best app, or download it.

Recently, I discovered an app that I had no idea existed until I was fully emerged in the world of real estate. The app is called Nextdoor and it's social media for you and your neighbors.

With holiday music playing on the radio and decorations throwing up all over the aisles of department stores, I think it's safe to say the holiday season has begun.

The holidays are a time where we tend to get side-tracked with all of the busyness of buying gifts, planning for events, etc. all while attempting to balance our normal daily routines and work life. We often forget to take time to stop and smell the firs. A lot of people I talk to use the excuse "Well, I don't have any extra money to spend on enjoying the holiday season." For those of you who can second the aforementioned belief, I'm here to tell you that one of my favorite holiday past times costs little to no money at all:

Who doesn't love an enormous Thanksgiving feast?

Thanksgiving is one of the few (if not the only) days of the year that you should only feel guilty if you don't have at least three heaping plates of food. However, can you imagine being the host of Thanksgiving and having to provide a meal, like the one below that Flickr user st.steele made for her family, for your entire group of loved ones?

In my family, we each try to bring one food item. This is so the hostest (with the mostest) doesn't have to worry about making fifteen different dishes when she's already in charge of preparing the turkey, cleaning the entire house, breaking out the good china and napkins, and washing a week's worth of dishes at the end of it all.

If you're reading this right now, you should be aware that there are people who are much less fortunate than you. You probably have some sort of Thanksgiving tradition where you go to a select family member's house and gorge on a ridiculous amount of carbs and then sit around and reminisce about the Thanksgivings of year's past.
